Do I need Snag+ to use SnagTabs at all?
No — the free tier includes the Release Calendar, Print Tracker, PokeVesting research, and the free-drop channel in Discord. See Free vs Snag+ for the full breakdown.
Will SnagTabs place an order for me?
No. Drop Launcher only opens the product page. SnagTabs Desktop can add an item to your cart, but only after you click Yes on the confirm popup — and even then, it never fills payment fields or clicks a final "place order" button. You always complete the purchase yourself.
Why didn't I get an alert for something I saw posted in Discord?
#snag-basic-drops reposts public social media chatter, not SnagTabs' own verified alert feed — it can be wrong or stale. The live alert feed (Live Restocks, Drop Launcher, the desktop app, the mobile app) is the Snag+ feature built for accuracy and speed; the free Discord channel is a courtesy, not a guarantee.
Can I run Drop Launcher and SnagTabs Desktop at the same time?
Yes — they're independent clients of the same alert feed. Some members run the extension on one machine and the desktop app on another, or both at once.
How do I change what I get alerted on?
Use Watchlist to switch between alerting on everything at a retailer or only specific products you've picked.
My Discord roles don't match my subscription.
Make sure you signed in with Discord on the SnagTabs website at least once — that's what links your account and syncs your role. If it's still wrong after that, see Get Support.
